Vincent Alaggia
SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Hi, I’m Vince.
I have been a full-time realtor in Toronto since 2008. Real estate is my second career after taking early retirement from the University of Toronto, where I spent a number of years working at the three major campuses of U of T in the various departmental purchasing departments. Prior to my retirement, I was a Senior Purchasing Officer in the Procurement Services Department at the main downtown campus, where I honed my negotiating skills in purchasing high value equipment, supplies and services. I am recognized by the Family Relocation Office at the University of Toronto as one of a select group of real estate professionals recommended to assist faculty and staff in relocating to Toronto and helping them to buy or lease housing.
In my personal educational background, I studied architectural science at the former Ryerson University, now TMU. I continue to see dividends from these studies as I am able to apply my thorough knowledge of the mechanical and structural systems of homes to help many of my clients purchase real estate.
In my 16 years to date as a real estate agent, I’ve helped hundreds of clients buy and sell real estate, as well as helping out both tenants and landlords on the rental side of the market. I’ve also been fortunate enough to take on leadership roles within my real estate brokerage, including as Productivity Coach at Keller Williams Advantage. I very much enjoy working with newer sales representatives and helping them understand the skills and mindset that lead to becoming a productive real estate professional.
I value giving back to my community and I became involved with the Student Nutrition Programs of the Toronto District School Board by volunteering to serve young students weekly in the Breakfast Program for elementary school students at Lord Dufferin School. This is an inner-city school at Parliament and Gerrard where some of the poorest students in the city attend. If it were not for the support of volunteers and donations to this program, many of these young children would start their day without enjoying a sound breakfast. On a professional basis, I have volunteered and participated as a Board Director for several years as a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
I have lived and worked in Toronto for over 50 years now and, with my wife Ramona, we have raised two wonderful girls who are now successful adults, and we have two grandchildren!
Below are some of my real estate focus areas and specialties.
Now you know a bit about me and I look forward to learning about what matters to you, both personally and with real estate, if you decide you’d like to work with me to buy or sell a home.
